AUTO CLICKER:

Are your hands getting sore clicking potheads for your quests? Check out the Free Mouse Auto Clicker. Put your mouse where you want it to click and it will click for you at the frequency you set. I set it to 1/10 of a second and I've got a machine gun mouse, clicking ten times a second wherever I point my mouse. Ctrl+F2 turns it on then Ctrl+F3 turns it off. Great for using pot heads, planting seeds from your gift box, whatever! Share the Auto Clicker

NOTE: The developers of Pot Farm don't mind us using programs like this, but they don't support it either. If it causes you to sell or lose or buy something by mistake they can't fix it for you. So use it carefully and at your own risk.

AVATARS:

You can pick what you want your character to look like. Simply click on the store, then Appearance. When you get something new (even if it is free), you'll get a popup asking you to share with your friends. If you do, they can get a nice bonus. See BRAG BONUSES below for details.

Here's a tip. Buy FREE stuff for opposite sex avatars and post it on your wall. Your friends will score 200 Coins + 30 xp for clicking on it! You can even use this trick to earn your buying awards!

BAT GUANO:

This is an awesome fertilizer that can be used to make your plants grow INSTANTLY. You purchase these for Pot Bucks. The more you buy, the better deal you get. (There was an issue with buying 999 when you had 1 or more already. It would show 100. It was only missing the 'ones' digit. You really had over 1000. This was to be addressed in an update on Feb 3.)

Simply click the Guano icon then click a plant and it will be ready to harvest immediately. This is especially awesome for the 2-3 day crops!

BIG NEWS: As of March 3, 2011, Jitters generates guano every 12 hours. See JITTERS below for more details. Share Jitters News

NEW GUANO FEATURE: When you USE guano from your gift box, it immediately gets added to your total guano on the lower left of the game. That means that you can now use guano from jitters and the newsfeed to fertilize hydroponic structures! Nice one, Pot Farm!

BETA:

It says the game is totally Beta. BETA means that the game is in test phase and WE are the testers (even though the game has been out for well over a year.) If you have any problems with the game not working right, learn how to report it HERE.

BIG PHROG:

Big Phrog is a critter released on January 21, 2011. He is real! However, when you try for one and miss out, you will get a confusing message saying "did you really see it or were you sampling too much of your product? Better ask your friends to be sure!" See "CRITTERS" page for details.

BLOW UP SHEEP (aka Inflatable Sheep):

Yeah, they went there alright! Blow up sheep are critters released on February 11, 2011. See "CRITTERS" page for details.

BLUE MUSHROOMS: (Conifer Psilocybe)

Blue Shrooms are "repeaters" (bonus items) that generate one 4x 420 Blues seed (and 1xp) every 4 hours. They are -10 protection, sell for 40 coins and take up 1 plot. Find these on your news feed (just like Critters) or from visiting neighbors. You can also score 10 of them by completing the "420 Rally Prize Quest (IX)".

BOOKMARKING POT FARM:

You can bookmark Pot Farm by going into your Facebook account settings, then application settings, then edit the settings for Pot Farm. Put a tick in the box for bookmark this page. That means a link to the application appears on your home page, making it easier/quicker to open.

BOXES: Jackpot and Mystery Boxes:

First released, August 26-30, 2010 then again Sept 30 - Oct 4, 2010 and Dec 13-16, 2011, these are back from January 23-25, 2012. Find them in the store under the TENDING tab. This time, the Jackpot Box is available to everyone level 6 and up for $29 pot bucks each and you could win a hydro fortress. (Last time, the premium prize was listed as a hydro bunker.) Players level 188 and up can buy them for FIVE million coins each (I've not been too lucky with these this time, but in the past I've gotten all sorts of wild stuff from them including a PHAT BROWNIE OVEN worth $299 pot bucks.) Share the News!

The Mystery Box unlocks at level 20 and costs 10,000 coins. It can get you some fun stuff too. (I got lucky! I got a Winter Lambo in one of my first 5 boxes!)

The following was posted by one of the developers when the boxes were out in December 2011: "The way the jp boxes work is that there are a certain number of common prizes, uncommon, rare and then epic prizes and these are level based as well." ... "We put a lot of stuff in the boxes that you can't get any other way and we put guano and puff puff in there as well. We even put more guano and puff in the boxes than you could buy for PB price of the jp boxes. If you can get all of these things for too few coins people will have tons of guano and puff puff for very cheap, meaning they can progress in the game too fast. After reviewing how fast people were progressing after the last JP box sale we had to rebalance them. It was a very difficult decision to make but we have to look at a bigger picture of balancing the boxes across all levels for everyone. It's a big job and" ... "some people don't put value on some of the items we put in it, like the kitties and the smokestream trailer. Some people love these items. Either way there has to be some items that aren't as good as others. That is the game of chance part. As always we are open to suggestions from the community and I'll take your feedback back to the team. Thanks everyone!"

"BRAG" BONUSES - It's cool to brag!

As of November 5, 2010, you get rewards for clicking on your friends' regular wall posts (the "brag" posts about items you purchased, leveling up, getting awards, and mooching too. You can earn coins, XP or a combo of both. Your rewards will show up in your gift bag. Go there and click USE to cash 'em in.

An infinite number are available, but only 1 per person. (Even if you have 2000 neighbors, they can all get a little somethin' somethin'.) However, you can only collect of these 50 bonuses in a 24 hour period. (Tip: If you can, make 'em the Avatar or Award posts! They're worth the most!)

Here's a list of what you'll get for each of the bonuses:

• Avatar posts (buying outfit) = 200 Coins + 30 xp
• Award posts = 100 Coins + 10xp
• Level up posts = 100 Coins + 5xp
• BUSTED posts = 5 xp
• Buying Item posts = 4xp
• Completing a Quest = 200 Coins
• Daily Bread posts = 100 Coins (limited to first 8 players to click post)
• Buying Contraption posts = 50 Coins
• Leaderboard posts (moving up on leaderboard) = 25 Coins
• Mooch a Gift posts = 25 Coins Bonuses for clicking mooches removed 8/3/11

Again, the above bonuses are for clicking on newsfeed posts that were posted by your friends. So, go ahead, BRAG! Your friends will dig you for it.

TIP: When you add a new friend, visit their feed and click on all their brags! You can go back as far as November 5. Anything before that won't give you a bonus.

COCOA TREES & PODS:

These are the Small Cocoa Tree, the Cocoa Tree, and the Cocoa Tree Grove. When you get them they are fully grown. They produce cocoa pods every 48 hours which sell for 80 coins each. (DO NOT SELL THE PODS! They are used in the brownie machine.)

Cocoa Trees are available as prizes for doing the Brownie Machine Quests.

Cocoa Trees come in 3 sizes:

The small cocoa tree takes up 4 spaces and gives 54 protection. Generates 20 Cocoa Pods & 64 xp every 48 hours. When you earn this and get it in your gift box, it will tell you can sell it for 5,200 coins. DO NOT SELL IT. Brownie Machines rock and you'll need this to produce pods.

The cocoa tree takes up 9 spaces and gives 220 protection. Generates 60 Cocoa Pods & 128 xp every 48 hours. When you earn this and get it in your gift box, it will tell you can sell it for 22,900 coins. DO NOT SELL IT. Brownie Machines rock and you'll need this to produce pods. This has been offered for sale for a limited time on occasion. Cost was $229 pot bucks.

The Cocoa Tree Grove takes up 16 spaces and gives 600 protection. Generates 120 Cocoa Pods & 1,200 xp every 48 hours. When you earn this and get it in your gift box, it will tell you can sell it for 6,900 coins. DO NOT SELL IT. Brownie Machines rock and you'll need this to produce pods.

When you collect from the cocoa trees, you can share cocoa pods with your neighbors.

CROP CIRCLES: Crop circles are real, man!

Weed Crop Circle: The Weed Crop Circle was released July 13 and is available through August 1, 2011. Check it out on the featured item bar of the store. Can't see it. Close the store and try again. 4 spaces, 12 protection, 100xp, $49 pb. It's a repeater and gives one 4x Alien Kush seed every 24 hours.

Bunny Crop Circle: The Bunny Crop Circle was introduced July 14 as a quest reward. It's a repeater and gives one 9x Alien Kush seed every 12 hours.

DAILY BREAD:

You get coins for each neighbor you have (up to 50 neighbors max. You also get coins for any INCOME items you have placed on your farm (not in storage). Visit my ITEMS PAGE to see how much daily income items offer. Here's an example.

DECREPIT WASHER:

This is a limited time featured item found in the bottom bar of the store from June 24 through July 3, 2011. (If you don't see it, close the store and reopen it until you do.) The Decrepit Washer is a repeater and generates one Ditch Weed 9x seed and 50xp every 24 hours! You can see more details on my Items Page.

EASTER ISLAND BUNNY:

Can be earned on the 2nd Easter Quest "Quest for the Maoi". Takes up 8 spaces and gives 12 protection. This is a "repeater" (bonus item) and generates one 9x chocolate chunk seed every 4 hours!

It was also available as a limited time offer for $71 pot bucks. When purchased for pot bucks, it gave 1000xp).

EASTER ISLAND HEAD (STATUE):

This is a very special item, considered a trophy by many. The ONLY way to get it is by doing the 3rd Easter Quest "Rapa Nui". Pot Farm has announced that the Easter Island Head will NEVER be available for purchase. It takes up 8 spaces and gives 163 protection. Though I wouldn't suggest selling your awesome trophy, you could get 15,000 coins for it if you wanted to.

FEATURED ITEMS:

Featured items are special items not available in any section of the store. They appear only on the FEATURED ITEM BAR at the bottom of the page when you visit the store. NOTE: Only 6 items can fit on the featured item bar at one time. If there are a bunch of items currently available, you may need to close the store and open it again to see the other items. (Sometimes, you may need to do this several times to find what you're looking for.)

FLOYD:

aka "Farmer Floyd", "Uncle Floyd". Check out his twitter page.

UNCLE FLOYD FREAK OUTS: This feature was cancelled in late August 2011. Old Floyd Freakout links are still good though. For a good source of them, check out AllAvatarRewards.Info.

When you got a Floyd Freakout popup, you'd choose friends to post links on their walls. The first 50 players to click those links got a bonus. (If a friend posted on your wall, you were able to claim it EVEN if 50 people had already clicked it!) Everyone who clicked got an xp bonus equal to their level. A level 7 user would get 7xp. A level 90 player would get 90xp. Each player was able to score up to 50 of these Freakout bonuses in a 24 hour period. (The problem where you could only get it every 72 hours was fixed on June 10, 2011! Read about it here.)

FLIPPING ITEMS:

On October 21, 2010, the devs launched a feature where you can flip items. Just click on your WALK button (the boot icon). Then click on the item and you'll see the option to flip (along with options to move or sell the item). This allows your bunnies to be more social and your farm to just have more feng shui in general. Click HERE for illustrations.

GIFTS - ADVICE on what to give:

I recommend giving mystery gifts. It gives a wide variety of things including hard to find ingredients for the Love In and Love Machine (chocolates, love oil, roses, and champagne). I do NOT recommend sending seeds, especially to higher level players.

UNLIMITED GIFTING! I'm not sure what the deal is or how long it will last, but you can now send gifts to as many friends as you'd like (50 at a time). No more waiting to send out another bunch of 50 gifts! Check it out.

GIFTS - MOOCHING: Click 'Mooch a Gift' and post what you want on your wall. When your friends click on the post, they'll send you what you requested. When you click your friends mooch posts, you'll get a bonus. BE SURE to click CONTINUE on the page that says you got the bonus. If you don't, your friend will NOT get your gift.

GIFTS - Planting: You can plant multiple seeds from your gift box without having to go back to the gift box for each one. Simply click on the seed (or item) in your gift box, then place it on your farm. You'll have a small number showing how many you have left. You can then just keep clicking on open spots on your farm to continue planting them (just like planting seeds from the store).

GIFTS - Selling and Using: From your Gift Box, choose either "sell one" or "SELL ALL"! Some items like hemp oil and potcorn can ONLY be used. Using them puts them in your stash. (They must be used and moved to your stash before you can use them as ingredients for contraptions.

GOLD RUSH MINI-GAME:

Pot Farm offers a fun mini-game. You access it from a tab at the top of the game that says "Gold Rush". Share Mini Game Info

At least check it out. You get $2 Pot Bucks just for completing the tutorial. PLAY GOLD RUSH NOW

The tutorial is free and there is a free play option. However, when you bet an amount, you are betting your pot bucks and stand a chance of losing them. I recommend trying the free version a few times and see what scores you get. Then, check the payout schedule to see what, if anything, you would have won. (The payout schedule changes depending on the bet amount chosen.) Don't worry. Selecting an amount won't automatically start the game. It will ask you to confirm that you want to place a bet (and agree to the terms of the game).

If you have any problems (or feedback) related to the Gold Rush game, click the "Contact BringIt" link at the bottom of the Gold Rush screen at http://apps.facebook.com/mypotfarm/bringit.php. That includes anyone who is missing a payout. Let them know and they will investigate and re-send as needed.

Features added Mar 15, 2011:
• Daily Bonus: Each day that you play a Solo or Tournament game in Gold Rush, you earn a Daily Bonus. Play several days in a row, and the bonuses get better each day!
• Gifting: Players can now send Gold Rush bonuses to their friends as gifts. The more you play, the more and better gifts you can send.
• Promotions: From time to time, they'll run promotions, like a "Happy Hour" where everyone who visits Gold Rush during that hour receives a bonus. You can even choose to be notified in advance about the next promotion to make sure you don't miss out!
• Bonuses and gifts that will be available include boosts to prize payouts, free games, entry into exclusive tournaments.

HIBISCUS PLANT:

This decoration item could only be found by visiting neighbors over the holiday season (December 2010). It was a rare drop, so many people didn't get one. It doesn't offer any protection though. Full details can be found on my Items page.

HIGHlighting Feature on Pot Farm Info Charts:

There is so much information on Pot Farm Info that the charts can be a little confusing. Thanks to my buddy, Jim, most charts throughout the site now allow you to highlight a row and column. Simply click a field on the chart and it will highlight the row and column. Share Feature

HOOKAH PIPE: GIFT (Decoration): Share

Until Summer 2011, Hookahs unlocked to give as a gift at level 7. They take up 0 plots, provide 0 protection, and the sell price is 160 coins. They now just appear as a puff of smoke with a question mark. It used to be that playing on http://thepotfarmgame.com allowed you to actually see the hookah or gift it. ("Request a mooch" was not available for hookahs. You needed to send one to your friends and hope they'd send you one in return.)

Hookahs were accidentally removed from the gift page some time ago. The devs were reportedly working to bring them back but it appears other issues may have come up since then.

Hookahs now appear as a puff of smoke on both sites. One of the developers guesses that it may be because Facebook recently announced that they can't provide incentives or special items for going off the platform. I urged them to look into bringing back on both platforms. We'll see what happens.

HYDROPONICS:

Hydroponics addresses the land issue that so many players have been screaming about. For LOTS more info, check out my HYDROPONICS PAGE. It now has it's own tab under Game Info or can be found by simply typing www.potfarm.info/hydro.php in your browser.

INFLATABLE SHEEP (aka Blow Up Sheep):

Jitters was introduced in November 2010. He is offered to players for joining the mailing list. He takes up one space and offers 30 protection. He only sells for 1 coin, so he's not intended to sell for profit. If you haven't gotten him yet, you can do so by joining the email list. Then, when you get an email from Pot Farm, look at the bottom for a link like this one...

BIG JITTERS NEWS: It looks like our caffeinated pup, Jitters, was chasing bats all night on the POT FARM and he brought you a GUANO GIFT! As of March 3, 2011, every 12 hours you can collect one guano from Jitters that gets put in your gift box. Plus, you can share with your friends. The first 12 who click should get a guano in their gift box. (I'm told you can collect 10 guanos per day from other players' posts, but it appears to be higher than that.) Share Jitters News

LANTERNS:

This limited time protection item was only available for a few days in May 2010. Stats for this item are included on my Items page.

Lanterns are now available as a quest. See details on my Quest Page.

Lanterns became a drop for the jackpot boxes. Thus, they have become fairly common for players to have.

LEADERBOARD!

Make it onto the leaderboard and you can win daily prizes! Click the CONTESTS tab to see the leaderboard, then be sure to click the button marked 'click to see if you've won a prize' every day! At the very least, you'll get the latest seasonal seed.

LEPRECHAUNS:

There are five different leprechauns. However, as of early May 2011, the developers turned off leprechauns. They may come back some day, but for now you can no longer get them. (In early October 2011, they were showing up in mystery/jackpot boxes.)

Leprechauns that you could only get by doing chores (visiting neighbors):

Happy (aka TP): Uncommon. Offers 14 protection and 500 daily coins.

Lucky: Uncommon. Offers 5 protection and 500 daily coins.

These three were available as found items (critters):

Lost: Most common. Offers 9 protection and gives 250 daily coins.

Ale-prechaun: Medium common. Offers 8 protection, 150 daily coins, and 24 Hemp Ale and 12xp every 4 hours.

Puffy: Least common. Offers 4 protection, 250 daily coins, and 1 Acapulco Gold seed and 25 xp every 24 hours.

There may still be hope of finding some! Although leprechauns are no longer offered, check out the article, "Hunting Expired Critters: Testing Your Patience".

LEVELING UP:

I'm often asked how to level up more quickly. Here are some tips.

XP is what makes you level, so plant seeds that give you the best xp per hour for your level. And don't let them sit unharvested. Also, you can plant seeds with the highest xp (even if they take a long time to grow) and then use guano on them to make them ready to harvest immediately. Check my seeds page at http:/seeds.potfarm.info to get all the stats.

The wine maker is good too. Check out my contraptions page for details.

Also, visiting neighbors gets you xp. 'Brag' posts on your newsfeed can get you xp too. Check out 'Brags' and Floyd for details.

To find out how much xp it takes for each level and how many pot bucks you get, check out my LEVELING page.

LIMITS:

All limits work on a 24 hour rolling basis. That means if you get all 4 mystery seeds at once, you'll have to wait 24 hours to get any more. And you'll then be able to get 4 more. However, if you get one every hour, then 24 hours from when you got your first one, you'll be able to get one more. Then another in an hour, etc. Since this is a little confusing, Pot Farm came out with a "Feedback Feature" to help Pot Farmers track how many seeds and critters we have claimed and show us when we can claim more! PLUS, the game won't need to load each time we try to claim a seed or critter! This will be a big help to players who want to get all the seeds and critters available to them.

The Loch Ness Monster is a quest reward for the Conspiracy Quest, "Nessie is Real". It is a "repeater" that generates one PuffPuff Pass and 300xp every 36 hours. "Nessie" takes up 9 spaces and provides 1000 protection. See a bigger image and discuss HERE. SHARE THIS BIG PURPLE DUDE!

LOVE PIGS:

Released for Valentine's Day 2011, the Love Pig, Rosy Love Pig, Choco Love Pig and Bubbly Love Pig each take up 2 spaces, offer +22 protection, and sell for 2,500 coins. Visit my CRITTERS PAGE for more details.

Starting Mar 16, 2011, the Love Pigs have become "repeaters" (bonus items) giving ingredients for the Sweet Love contraptions every 12 hours: SHARE LOVE PIG NEWS

MISSING OBJECTS:

If you keep losing things, report it to the DEVs DIRECTLY (but nicely, please). Learn how to report it HERE. We all understand the frustration of losing a structure you spent big bucks on, but try and understand the frustration on the other end, the people who have to read your emails/messages.

MOVING OBJECTS:

You can move things around your farm, by clicking on the 4-way arrow icon, then clicking on the object you want to move. Simply drag and drop to the new location. Obviously you cannot move crops, you can only plant, harvest or delete them. To delete or clear a plot, click on the sell/delete icon and then click on the object you want to delete.

MYSTERY GIFTS:

Feature added April 4, 2011. Send your friends a mystery gift and they'll get a surprise when they accept it. It could be champagne, chocolates, sour diesel, or who knows what else?

NEIGHBORS:

NEIGHBORS - Adding: Any Facebook friend of yours who plays the game automatically becomes a neighbor. There is no "add new neighbor" option like many other Facebook games.

NEIGHBORS - Finding more: It's poor ettiquite to start your own threads or spam non-add-me threads with add requests. Many players will specifically not add you for this behaviour. Here are a few good places to post "add me" requests:

Post a request at the above links and send friend requests to others who posted there requested friends already. If you want an add, send a friend request with a note saying "pot farm". Do NOT email people asking them to add you. (Tacky!)

NEIGHBORS - Visiting: Visit your neighbors farm and you'll be asked if you want to help out. Agree and you'll be rewarded with XP! You can earn XP when you visit each neighbor's farm up to a max of 1 time per 8 hour period. That means, if you're a ninja, you can visit each neighbor's farm 3 times per day (each neighbor, 3 times, 24 hours).

Sometimes you'll get a special different page offering you a wide variety things. Sometimes it's just one. Sometimes it's a bunch!

When you visit a neighbor, you can share by posting on their wall. If you do this, you can then go click on those posts and collect the current theme seed. You can collect up to 50 times a day when you click on the posts that you generated from visiting neighbors (or from neighbor visit posts posted on your own wall by your neighbors).

Advanced tip: When sharing posts while visiting neighbors, you don't need to go searching for their profile to find the post. After clicking "Share it, Man!" (before clicking the blue Facebook SHARE button), right click the header of the post and open the link in a new tab. You'll get your bonus immediately! Share Tip

There are lots of goodies you can get from your neighbors just by clicking on their wall posts. To see only Pot Farm posts, use this link: https://www.facebook.com/?sk=app_272810543124.

The list below shows all the news feed post limits. All limits work on a 24 hour rolling basis. That means if you get all 4 mystery seeds at once, you'll have to wait 24 hours to get any more. And you'll then be able to get 4 more. However, if you get one every hour, then 24 hours from when you got your first one, you'll be able to get one more. Then another in an hour, etc.

Know your limits! Pot Farm has a cool Feedback Feature to help Pot Farmers track HOW MANY seeds and critters we have claimed, show us WHAT the limits are, and show us WHEN we can claim more! (You do not need to click Continue to get the seed, critter, or whatever.)

The first of these images is an example of the notice you'll get when you successfully claim seeds and critters. The second shows what you'll see when you've reached your limit.

Note: "First 5", "First 1", etc. in the list below refers to how many people can collect from the same post. So, for example, "Mystery Seeds" lists "First 5". That means when you post a mystery seed on your wall, only 5 people can collect from it. With Critters, it's only the "First 1". Etc.

Mystery Seeds: You can collect up to 4 mystery seeds from each of the 11 types of mystery seed posts in any 24 hour period (for a daily max of 44). First 5.

Critters: You can collect up to 5 critters from each type of critter post in any 24 hour period. First 1.

Contraptions: You can collect up to 20 contraption products from each type of contraption in any 24 hour period. First 10. (NOTE: Brownie Machines are the exception. Unlike all other contraption products, only the FIRST player to click a brownie machine post will get one. Only the first 5 to click a phat brownie machine post will get one.)

Floyd Freakouts: These are no longer in the game, but you can still find some old posts. (There are thousands on AllAvatarRewards.info.) The limit on freakout bonuses is 50 every 24 hours. See Floyd Freakouts for more details.

Neighbor Visit Posts: You can collect up to 50 times a day when you click on the posts that you generated from visiting neighbors (or from neighbor visit posts posted on your own wall by your neighbors). These posts pay the current seasonal seed.

420 News Posts: You can collect up to 5 times a day when you click on these posts. They are generated when you see a popup notice about a game change and you share it with your friends. These posts pay the current seasonal seed.

Brag Posts: You can collect up to 50 total brag posts in any 24 hour period. (All of the different types of brag posts are counted toward the total of 50, so go for the best ones!) An unlimited number of players can click on brag posts, but each person can only click a particular post one time.

OLD HIPPY GOLD:

This feature replaced 'Sending Valentines' on February 21, 2011, when the heart icon was replaced with "Zeke", an old hippy that loves to share the jane. It went away on March 23, 2011 when the icon was replaced by Quests. It recently came back again as a random pop up.

Acapulco Gold sent as a gift is the same as that found in mystery seeds, but it takes 96 hours (4 days) to grow. It sells for 1200 coins and when you harvest it you get 100xp and are able to share mystery seeds with your friends. For more details, see Acapulco Gold on the Mystery Seeds page.

Facebook Note: You can only send Acapulco Gold to people who allow friends to post to their wall. Likewise, you can only receive AG if you allow people to post on yours. (To change this, go to Account, Privacy Settings, Customize Settings, then Enable "Friends can post on my Wall" under "Things others share".

OOGY BUNNY:

Oogy Bunny is a rare critter that can be found on your farm and shared with your friends. See "CRITTERS PAGE" for more info. From Jan 21-23, he was available to purchase for $12 pot bucks. At that time, his resale value went up from 200 to 1200 coins.

PF Manager is a News Feed Organizer. It reorganizes your News Feed into categories specific to the collectible posts made by your Pot Farm neighbors. It allows you to quickly and easily reach your seed, critter, and bonus limits. It even includes your friends Blaze Runner links!

It's NOT a "snag bar" though, as it only shows you the links and doesn't automatically click them when they come up. Check it out. It's freakin' awesome!

PHOTOS OF YOUR FARM: Share Photo Info

Want to take a screenshot of your farm? Click the camera icon in the lower left corner of the game.

Your icons will be removed and you'll get a camera and a big red X on your farm. Click the camera to snap a photo. Click the red X to cancel.

When you first click the camera, you'll be asked to allow their fb app to post on your wall.

Each time you take a photo, it will be uploaded into an album named Pot Farm on your Facebook profile. It will also be posted to your wall.

A word of caution: Allowing the camera access can start allowing at least some of your critter and mystery seed posts to go through automatically without showing the Facebook pop-up allowing you to comment or define who sees them. To correct this issue, go to your profile page. Click on "Account" in the upper right. From the drop-down menu, select "Privacy Settings." On the Privacy page, go to the lower left corner under Apps and Websites and select "Edit your settings". Next to "Apps you use", click Edit Settings. Find Pot Farm and click Edit Settings. Find the option for "Post to my wall" and click remove. That should put things back to normal.

POT BUCKS (PBs) - shown as "$" in my charts:

You can get Pot Bucks several different ways. Certain 3 minute mystery seeds can be sold for PBs. Many awards pay PBs. And you also get PBs for leveling.

You can also purchase pot bucks using PayPal and several other methods. Last time I checked, using PayPal, you could get 50 Pot Bucks for $5. 105 Pot Bucks for $10. 220 for $20. 350 for $30. 480 for $40. 625 for $50.

If you completed a survey or other offer in the game to earn pot bucks but never got them, go here and click the orange HELP button to see the status of your reward.

PROTECTION:

If you check out my SEEDS and ITEMS pages, you'll see that everything has a protection rating. Most weed has a negative protection rating, meaning that it requires that much protection to grow safely. Most items have a positive protection rating, meaning they provide protection for your weed.

You only get protection from plants that are FULLY grown or items that remain IN your field. You do NOT get protection from partially grown plants or items while they are stored in a shed or barn.

If you have fully grown weed plants, and negative protection, you stand a chance of being busted by Ranger Dick who can take some or all of your unprotected weed!

Nothing wilts or dies in this game, so you don't have to worry about your herb going bad, man.

The higher you level up, the better protection items you'll unlock. However, you'll also unlock better weed which requires more protection. Again, for more info, check out my SEEDS and ITEMS pages.

PUFF PUFF PASS:

Cool feature allows faster, easier planting, fertilizing, and harvesting. And it runs on pot scotch, pot corn, and most other contraption products! As of August 2011, these are also used with hydroponics.

Hovering over the bong (excuse me, "bottle"), will show you how many points you have left in the bottle. (for example, 0/140)

You can trade in contraption products for refills. That's limited to one trade for each different product every 24 hours. Also, the 'bottle' (yeah, we know what it is!) refills itself automatically FOR FREE every day. (It fills all at once, not slowly throughout the day.)

Clicking on the bottle, will bring up a brief explanation. Click on COOL to go to the buy refill page. If you have any PPP points left at all, your refill will simply be shown as a number over the bottle. (like 2x). The next time you use the points, when you get it down to zero, your refill will automatically fill the bottle.

You can buy refills (or trade contraption products for them) before you need them. It puts a 2x, 3x, etc over the bottle. That way, when you're using it and your bottle reaches zero, it should automatically fill itself with the next bottle you have on hand.

Once you trade some wine for a refill, it starts the wine refill clock making you wait 24 hours until you can use wine for another refill. During that time, you can trade for refills using other contraption products, each similarly starting their own 24 hour countdown clock until you can repeat the trade.

Even if you've got some multi-day crops growing and you're not going to be using your Puff Puff Points soon, I recommend trading for refills whenever you can, building up a nice reserve.

The devs of Pot Farm have been trying to think up ways to help farmers plant and harvest faster. This has resulted in our latest feature, the 4x Plant and 4x Harvest tool which runs on Puff Puff Points! (As of 5/31/11, a 4x Fertilize tool has also been added.)

Your quick and awesome 4x Harvesting and Planting tool runs on Puff Puff Points which are contained in this..."bottle" here:

If you hover over this bottle you'll see the # of Puff Puff Points you have left. Pretty easy peasy huh! All you need to know is that each plot = 1 Puff Puff Point, and that your Puff Puff meter refills every day on it's own. If you don't want to wait around you can always refill it with the products from contraptions and gifts! :) Keep spare bottles on hand. There's no limit to how many bottle you can keep to charge your tool!

Ranger Dick is the dude who will bust you and take your crops if your protection falls below zero. You can find his twitter page HERE.

Red Dragon:

Red Dragon is a seed that unlocks at level 76. Medical Dragon is the same thing but costs pot bucks and unlocks much earlier.

The following items are special. When placed on your farm, they start a timer (which you can see by hovering over them). When the timer counts down to zero, you can click on the item to collect the indicated products or seeds from them (and the xp indicated).

Warning: Putting these items in storage not only stops their timers, it resets it.

Contraptions also produce products, but require ingredients to be added first.

This list does not include items that offer a daily income ("daily bread"). Income information for items is included on the Items chart.

Released September 23: Gold Limo: Unlocks at level 69. Takes 4 spaces, offers 175 protection, and gives you 3000 xp when purchased. Cost is 250,000 coins.

Released September 21: The ROCK BAND SET is a 'repeater' that generates 1 OG Kush Hollywood every hour. 49 FB credits (or $249 pot bucks from www.thepotfarmgame.com) 5x3 tiles, 150 protection, 1000 xp earned with purchase. (I LOVE PLAYING ROCKBAND!)

Released Sept 20: The new Smokin Drum Set is a 'repeater'. It generates one 9x OG Kush seed every 30 minutes. It takes up 6 spaces. It costs 39 Facebook credits (or $129 potbucks on the standalone site at www.thepotfarmgame.com).

Released Sept 19: The new Microphone offers 29 protection and takes up NO spaces. (It is NOT a repeater. It doesn't actually DO anything.) It costs 15 Facebook credits (or $59 potbucks on the standalone site at www.thepotfarmgame.com).

Released Sept 16: The new Moogalizer is a 'repeater'. It generates one 4x OG Kush seed every 30 minutes. It takes up two spaces and costs $69 pot bucks.

STOP SIGN ICON:

This shows up while your farm is busy planting or harvesting. It allows you to stop the action immediately without it completing the actions you told it to do.

STORAGE: Barns, Sheds and Silos:

Share Storage Info

Sheds, barns, and even a missle silo are for items you've already placed on your farm that you wish to store. This way, you can simply bring them back out again rather than having to sell and repurchase them. (Remember, there is no limit to the number of gifts you can hold in your GIFTS tab. There is no benefit to moving your gifts into your storage.)

To move an item you want to store from your farm into your shed, barn or silo, click the move tool (four-way arrow), then click on the item you want to store. Then click on the storage structure and your item will be stored. Contraptions, structures and decorations can be stored, but when you put something into storage you lose the protection it gives you. You still get the protection of the silo, shed or barn itself.

To get something out of storage, click on the multi-tool, then click on the shed, barn, or silo and you'll be brought to your inventory page. From your inventory page, you can then use or sell an item currently in storage.

To upgrade your storage (expand it's capacity), click on the multi tool icon (the hand with the pointing finger), then click on your shed, barn or silo. You'll see it's contents and there will be an upgrade link in the upper right corner. (Upgrading offers no additional protection, only increased capacity.)

Missile Silos unlock at level 77. Each silo takes up only 6 spaces.

Costs 500,000 coins. The starter Silo stores 130 items. You can upgrade to 175 for $6 pb. And to 250 items for $12 more pb. Protection Rating: +120, Purchase xp = 3,000.

Items that normally bring a daily income, do NOT bring an income if they are in storage. This actually makes good sense. Otherwise, you could put 40 Nacho Machines in a shed taking up just 6 spaces and bring in 32,000 coins a day. It would be a huge investment, but a full-size farm full of loaded sheds would bring $2.24 million coins per day!

Storage structures are pretty magical, but they can't store other storage structures: You cannot store a shed, barn or silo inside another shed, barn or silo. (It doesn't matter if either or both are otherwise empty, or if it's a different type of storage structure. You simply cannot do it.)

If you store an item with a pay cycle (contraptions, love pigs, etc) the pay cycle will be reset: Contraptions, pigs, leprechauns (and anything else with a pay cycle), all need to remain on your farm until you collect. If you store then before you collect, their timers will be reset when you take them out again.

Do not sell storage structures with items in them! If you sell a storage structure with stuff still in it, you will not get paid for the items inside. You need to clear it out before you sell. (Just like in real life!)

SUGAR CANE - limited time versions:

These seeds were introduced on December 10, 2010 and were only available through early January 2011. They are no longer in the main seed chart because it is no longer available.

"Super" Cane (4X): This was purchased for $1 pot buck and gave you 4 sugar cane plants on a single plot. It unlocked at level 19, offered 28 protection, 4 planting xp, 16 harvesting xp, grew in 7 hours. The 4 plants grown on a single spot sold for a total of 500 coins.

"Xmas" Sugarcane (1X): This was available as a gift only. It was available to any level, offered 7 protection, 4 harvesting xp, grew in 7 hours, sold for 125 coins.

SUPERCROPPING (2x and 3x seeds) SHARE

Pay double for a seed, get double xp and 2 plants. The individual plants in your stash sell for the same price as before, but now you get twice as many. In some cases, the planting xp isn't exactly double, but in those cases, the harvesting xp makes up for it so the TOTAL of the two is indeed double.

Planting supercrops simply let you accomplish awards more quickly.

2x crops start opening up at level 40. At level 58, we start seeing 3x seeds that get you triple xp and 3 plants.

SWEET LOVE:

This is the product of two contraptions, the Love Machine and the Love In. Visit the contraptions page for details and the awards page to see the awards available. (The top award for Sweet Love is the highest XP ever offered for a contraption!)

Unfortunately, the ingredients were available as gifts only for a limited time. The 4 ingredients occasionally still show up when visiting neighbors. You can also find them on your news feed when your friends share them.

EXCITING NEWS: Starting Mar 16, 2011, the Love Pigs now give items for the Sweet Love contraptions every 12 hours: Choco Love Pig=Chocolates, Love Pig=Love Oil, Rosy Love Pig=Roses, Bubbly Love Pig=Champagne. SHARE LOVE PIG NEWS

You could post a 9x Love Potion seed for any of your friends that already play the game! You could also post a Candy Heart seed for any of your friends that do not yet play the game. You could only post a gift once to each friend's wall. Any poster was automatically sent the same prize once their friend accepted! (Candy Heart Bush or 9x Love Potion).

This feature has been replaced by Old Hippie Gold on February 21, 2011, which was then replaced by Quests on March 23, 2011.
